How I Write

Writing is not the recording of thoughts already formed; it is the physical medium through which fuzzy intuitions are forced into precision.

1. The Drafting Protocol

Every journal entry begins as a raw, timestamped note. I intentionally write the first draft offline to prevent research from replacing original synthesis.

• No Real-Time Editing: Sentence restructuring is strictly banned during the initial capture phase.
• Plain Text & Markdown: No proprietary formatting, rich-text styling, or WYSIWYG distractions.
• Timestamp Anchoring: Capturing the exact physical location, ambient noise, and mental state.

2. The 48-Hour Incubation Rule

Before any entry is marked as public, it sits in draft or private status for at least 48 hours. This cooling-off period eliminates reactive emotional bias and allows the core argument to stand on its own merits.
